M&T - Recent Internal Hiring Freezes?

Has anyone else at M&T experienced or heard about internal hiring freezes across certain departments? I'm in [mention department vaguely, e.g., a tech-adjacent division] and we had a req open for a while that just got quietly pulled. Also, some of the usual internal transfers seem to be on hold. It's not a widespread, announced freeze, more like a gradual slowdown that's noticeable if you're looking for it. Could be budget related, or it could be a precursor to something else. Just trying to understand the current internal hiring climate. Anyone in other areas seeing similar patterns? Trying to figure out if it's just my team/department or a broader M&T trend.
