M&T Bank - Post-Merger Integration Concerns?

With the recent acquisition of People's United still settling in, I'm starting to wonder about the long-term implications for M&T employees. While there haven't been any official announcements about widespread layoffs, the integration process itself can often lead to redundancies and restructuring, especially in back-office functions or overlapping roles. Has anyone experienced or heard about specific departments or roles being impacted by the merger integration? Are there any signs of consolidation that might lead to job losses down the line? It feels like a lot of the initial excitement has worn off, and now we're in the nitty-gritty of making everything work, which can be a stressful time for everyone involved. Just looking to see if others share these concerns or have any insights into how the integration is progressing from an operational standpoint.

I'm in a similar boat, watching this closely. My branch is now under the M&T umbrella and things feel... uncertain. They've been pretty tight-lipped about the full integration plan, which naturally leads to speculation. I've heard whispers about some back-office consolidation, but nothing concrete yet. Hoping for clarity soon, as the unknown is the hardest part.
