Has anyone been through a recent performance review cycle at NetApp? Wondering about impact.

With all the economic uncertainty going around, I'm really focused on my performance review coming up. Has anyone already gone through theirs, or are they in progress? Curious to hear how they're being handled this cycle. Are managers being more critical? Are ratings being suppressed? I know there have been rumors about potential workforce adjustments in the past, and while nothing's confirmed, I'm wondering if this review cycle is a precursor. Trying to understand if the general climate is affecting how performance is being assessed and what that might mean for headcount. Any insights from those who've been through it recently would be super helpful. Trying to stay positive and focus on my contributions, but it's hard not to worry given the broader tech landscape.

I just finished my review cycle at NetApp. My manager was pretty direct about areas for improvement, but overall constructive. It didn't feel overly critical, more like a standard assessment of where things stand. No indication of widespread rating suppression from my perspective, though I agree the economic climate is definitely on everyone's mind. Hopefully, it's just a normal review process.

My review period is still ongoing. The conversations have been a bit more intense than usual, with a strong emphasis on quantifiable results and alignment with company goals. There's a definite undercurrent of caution, which I suspect is related to the broader economic outlook.
