Hey all, been at NetApp for a few years now, and lately, the general atmosphere feels... tense. It's not just one thing, but a collection of small observations. Performance reviews seemed a bit more scrutinized this cycle, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring for a lot of roles. Also, some teams are suddenly reorganizing or merging functions. I haven't seen any official announcements, and HR is being tight-lipped as usual. But between the recent articles (even if they're a bit old, they set a precedent), and just the quiet hum around the office and on Slack, I'm getting a bad feeling. Anyone else in a similar boat or hearing anything concrete? Trying to gauge if this is a widespread NetApp thing or just my department's specific drama.

I've been with NetApp for a while, and I'm picking up on similar vibes. The hiring freeze feels pretty widespread, and you can tell departments are being pushed to do more with less. It's definitely created a bit of uncertainty, and the lack of clear communication from leadership isn't helping. Fingers crossed it's just a temporary adjustment period.
