Has anyone actually heard concrete rumors about layoffs at Newmont? I've been seeing some anonymous posts on other platforms that are making me nervous, but they're pretty vague. It could just be people venting general market anxiety, but with how volatile things have been, it's hard to ignore. I've been with the company for a few years and generally feel pretty secure, but this kind of talk always gets the gears turning. Is anyone aware of any specific departments or roles that might be more vulnerable? Or is this just the usual pre-bonus/performance review jitters amplified by the current economic mood? Trying to separate actual intel from online noise. If there's real information out there, I'd rather know than be caught off guard.
