Thoughts on the new 'streamlining' initiative?

Is anyone else getting exhausted by these constant strategy shifts? Every six months we get a new buzzword about 'synergy' or 'global integration,' and it always ends with fewer people trying to hit the same production targets. I have friends in other divisions saying they’re already being told to pick up the slack for the folks who were let go in the most recent cuts. How is that even sustainable? I’m seeing massive burnout across the board, and leadership seems completely disconnected from the actual day-to-day work. It feels like we are being run into the ground just to make the quarterly margins look slightly prettier for the investors. I’m starting to look elsewhere, but the job market in mining feels just as shaky. Does anyone have a pulse on how long this 'efficiency' phase is actually supposed to last, or are we just perpetually going to be understaffed moving forward?

It feels like we’re on a hamster wheel that just keeps spinning faster. Every time they announce these 'streamlining' initiatives, it’s just code for doing more with less until we eventually break. They talk about efficiency and integration like it’s a game of chess, but they forget that real people are the ones suffering under the weight of these impossible quotas. Leadership is insulated from the reality on the floor, and frankly, I don't see how this company keeps its best talent when morale is this low. The constant change is bleeding the culture dry.
