Hey all, been at NextEra for a few years now, and lately, the vibe feels...off. Management is being really cagey about future projects, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring across several departments. I've also heard whispers about 'strategic realignments' and 'efficiency improvements' which, in my experience, usually precede something less pleasant. No official announcements or anything concrete, but the general anxiety in the air is palpable. Anyone else in the company feeling this? What are your thoughts on the current economic climate and how it might be impacting a utility giant like NextEra? Trying to gauge if this is just my department or a broader trend. Any insights or intel would be appreciated.

I've been with NextEra for a while and I'm feeling similar concerns. The lack of transparency about upcoming initiatives is definitely unsettling. It's hard to plan or feel secure when you don't know what's on the horizon. The 'efficiency improvements' sound particularly ominous, as they often lead to restructuring. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull, but the unease is definitely widespread.
