Hey everyone. Been with NEE for a few years now, and lately, the vibe feels... off. Not hearing any official layoff announcements, but there's definitely a buzz about 'efficiency drives' and 'strategic realignments' across different departments. Saw a couple of senior folks in my area suddenly looking for new roles externally. Anyone else noticing this or hearing whispers from HR or management about potential changes? Is it just the usual industry churn, or is something bigger brewing at NextEra? Curious to hear what others are seeing, especially those in the power generation or renewables sectors within the company. Trying to gauge the temperature before things get colder.

I've been feeling a similar undercurrent at NEE. While I haven't personally witnessed any direct layoffs or heard concrete statements from management, the talk about 'optimizing operations' has been persistent. It's hard to shake the feeling that some positions might be under review, even if it's not explicitly stated. The increased scrutiny on project budgets and resource allocation across the board does lend some weight to the 'efficiency drive' narrative. Hopefully, it's just a proactive adjustment to market conditions and not indicative of larger issues.

Interesting to hear others are picking up on this. I haven't noticed anything drastic in my immediate team, but I've heard some indirect chatter from colleagues in other divisions about restructuring. The term 'synergies' seems to be getting thrown around a lot more frequently in internal communications lately. It's always a bit unsettling when there's uncertainty, and the lack of clear communication from the top can fuel speculation. Let's hope for transparency soon.
