Nordson - Anyone prepping for potential cuts?

Hey everyone, long-time lurker, first-time poster here. Been with Nordson for a decent stretch in an engineering role. Lately, the atmosphere has been a bit tense. We've had a few project scopes get scaled back, and I've noticed a few key people who've left recently haven't been replaced. My manager's been pretty tight-lipped, but the underlying message seems to be 'be prepared.' No official word on layoffs, but with the general economic climate and some of the internal signals, I'm starting to get a bit nervous. Anyone else in a similar boat or hearing anything concrete? Just trying to get a sense of the overall picture and maybe share some strategies for what to do if the worst happens. Networking outside the company is definitely on my radar.

Echoing your sentiment. The whispers are definitely circulating in my department as well. While I haven't seen any direct communication about cuts, the slowdown in new initiatives and the general air of caution are hard to ignore. It's unsettling when the usual level of transparency isn't there. Hoping for the best, but it's wise to be aware of the possibilities and have a backup plan ready, just in case.
