Questioning my role at Nordson - any insights?

Lurker here, usually just read posts but feeling compelled to ask. I've been at Nordson for a while and while I haven't heard explicit layoff talk, there's been a definite shift. Workloads feel like they've plateaued, and in some areas, even decreased. Performance reviews have been…standard, but no real talk about growth or new opportunities being created. It feels like a holding pattern, and frankly, it's making me anxious about job security. Is this just the current economic climate affecting us, or is there something more specific happening at Nordson that I'm missing? Curious if anyone in leadership or those closer to strategy have any insight, even anecdotal. Just trying to get a sense of what the future might hold.

I've noticed a similar vibe in my department over the past year. It feels like management is being very cautious with new initiatives, and there's less emphasis on expansion. While I haven't experienced direct cutbacks, the lack of visible growth opportunities or new projects is definitely making me re-evaluate my long-term prospects.
