Morale seems really low lately. What's going on?

Just wanted to vent a little, but also see if I'm alone in this. The general vibe around the office (or on virtual calls, for that matter) seems pretty downbeat lately. People are quieter, less willing to engage in non-work chat, and there's a definite undercurrent of anxiety. I know things have been tough in the industry generally, but it feels amplified here. Are we all just stressed about the economy, or is there something specific happening at NG that's affecting morale? Are managers addressing concerns, or are we expected to just power through? It's hard to stay motivated when the energy feels so low. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've definitely noticed the shift. It feels like there's a lot of uncertainty, and it's hard to shake off. Between program changes and the general economic outlook, it's understandable why people are feeling the pressure. It's a tough environment to stay upbeat in when you're constantly bracing for the next bit of news. Hoping things improve soon for everyone.

Yeah, the quietness is palpable. It used to be easier to have those quick chats that break up the day, but now it feels like everyone's just heads-down. I'm not sure if it's one big thing or a collection of smaller issues adding up, but the collective mood is definitely something I've felt too. Hopefully, leadership can address some of the underlying concerns that are contributing to this.
