Nucor - Staffing levels and future outlook?

Been with Nucor for a few years now, and things have generally been pretty stable. However, lately, I've noticed a slowdown in internal movement and fewer new hires coming in compared to, say, a year or two ago. Some departments seem to be operating leaner than usual, without any obvious replacements being sought.
