Nucor - Thoughts on current market conditions impacting us?

Just reading some of the industry news and seeing the fluctuations in steel prices and demand. Obviously, Nucor is usually pretty resilient, but I'm curious how everyone feels about the current economic climate specifically impacting our day-to-day or future outlook here. Are the recent global supply chain hiccups and inflation really filtering down to the plant floor or the sales teams in any tangible way? I haven't heard any whispers of layoffs or anything drastic, and my workload is still heavy, but it does make you think. Are we insulated enough, or are there underlying concerns that aren't being voiced openly? Curious to hear from people in different roles – production, engineering, sales, corporate – what you're seeing and how concerned you are, if at all. Trying to get a sense of the broader sentiment.

I've noticed the raw material costs are definitely higher, which impacts our margins even with steady demand. We're seeing some customers push back a bit on pricing increases, but thankfully, our long-term contracts and strong customer relationships are helping us navigate it. My team's workload hasn't decreased, but there's more emphasis on efficiency and cost control in every conversation.
