Is anyone else feeling super anxious lately?

I'm on the hardware engineering team, been here almost 7 years. I've seen ups and downs, but the overall vibe lately is just...off. There's this weird tension in meetings, people are being super careful about what they say, and I've noticed a few closed-door meetings happening that I'm definitely not invited to. Maybe it's just my own paranoia, but I can't shake the feeling that something big is about to happen. Anyone else picking up on this? Or am I just going crazy?

I hear you. I'm in a different department, but I've noticed the same thing. Upper management has been unusually quiet and evasive. Could be nothing, but I remember a similar atmosphere right before the big restructuring a few years ago. Start polishing your resume, just in case. Better to be prepared than caught off guard if the worst happens.

Honestly, you might be reading too much into it. Big projects are always stressful, and that kind of pressure can easily create a tense atmosphere. Closed-door meetings are pretty standard, especially when deadlines are looming and budgets are tight. Before you jump to conclusions about layoffs, consider the possibility that everyone's just heads-down trying to deliver.
