Has anyone heard anything about the Q3 guidance adjustments?

Is it just me, or is the atmosphere in the office feeling incredibly tense lately? We’ve had a few skip-levels canceled recently and the communication from management has shifted from 'growth' to 'efficiency' and 'optimization' real fast. I know the industry as a whole is tightening its belt, but usually, NXP tries to keep things a bit more stable than this. I’m starting to get nervous about the upcoming planning cycle. Has anyone heard anything concrete about budget cuts for the next quarter? I’m seeing a lot of whispers on the internal channels, but nothing substantive. Thinking about updating the resume just in case, but I hate the idea of panic-applying if this is just standard corporate noise. Any insight from the site leads or folks in the Austin or Eindhoven offices would be appreciated.

The pivot from 'growth' to 'optimization' is definitely the buzzword bingo hitting everyone right now. It feels like the writing is on the wall. I’ve noticed the same pattern with the skipped meetings and the sudden silence from leadership. Usually, NXP avoids the knee-jerk reactions that other semiconductor firms jump into, but this feels different. Honestly, I’m just trying to keep my head down and get my deliverables finished before the next wave of 'efficiency' measures lands. Don't be surprised if the Q3 guidance reflects some pretty aggressive cost-cutting.
