Otis: Anyone else seeing projects getting re-prioritized?

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else is noticing a shift in project focus lately at Otis. Seems like a lot of things I thought were important are suddenly being pushed back, and there's a big push to "streamline" or "optimize" existing processes. My team's workload has definitely changed, and not necessarily for the better in terms of long-term goals. Are others experiencing this? Wondering if it's a company-wide thing or just specific divisions. Trying to gauge the general sentiment and see if this is just me overthinking things or if there's a broader strategy at play here that's impacting our day-to-day. Any insights would be appreciated.

Absolutely. The 'streamline and optimize' mantra is in full effect here. My department's been tasked with reviewing every existing process, and frankly, a lot of it feels like rearranging deck chairs. The emphasis is clearly on short-term gains rather than long-term innovation. It's making it tough to stay motivated when the projects that could actually move the needle are being sidelined. Hope this isn't the new normal.
