Otis: What's the latest on hiring/freezes?

Hey all, has anyone noticed any changes in hiring patterns at Otis recently? I've heard a few things through the grapevine about positions being put on hold or a general slowdown in recruitment for certain roles. My team's headcount has been stable, but there was a planned opening that seems to have gone quiet. Not sure if it's a budget thing, a strategic shift, or something else entirely. It's hard to tell without official communication, which is pretty standard for us, I guess. Just trying to piece together the picture. If you're involved in hiring, recruiting, or have seen job postings disappear or applications stall, I'd be interested to hear about it. Any intel would be appreciated. Is the company still actively seeking talent across the board, or are things tightening up?

Interesting question. I haven't heard any official word about hiring freezes, but I have noticed some roles that were open a few months ago are still listed, which is a bit unusual. My department hasn't seen any changes to our existing headcount, but we're also not actively recruiting for new positions at the moment. It could just be a slower hiring cycle, or maybe they're consolidating efforts. Hard to say for sure without more information.

From my perspective, things seem pretty normal with hiring. The roles I'm aware of are still progressing, and my team's headcount is on track with our original plans for the year. It's possible that any slowdown might be specific to certain divisions or types of roles, rather than a company-wide freeze. I haven't encountered any issues with planned hires or recruitment efforts on my end.
