Been at Otis for a hot minute and lately, things just feel off. We’ve seen several mid-level managers depart quietly over the last month without the usual ‘farewell’ emails or transition announcements. It feels like someone is scrubbing the org chart before a larger announcement drops. My team is currently under a total travel freeze and they’ve stopped approving even minor office supply orders, which is basically the corporate version of ‘close the hatches.’ If they are going to do a cut, I wish they’d just rip the band-aid off instead of letting everyone sit in this state of constant anxiety. Anyone else seeing these invisible departures in their respective divisions, or is my specific floor just getting cleaned out?

That’s exactly what it looked like right before the last round of restructurings back in '22.
