Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter on other OEM forums about potential workforce adjustments. I work at PACCAR and while nothing concrete has been announced here, there's definitely a 'wait and see' vibe across the company. My department has seen some projects scaled back, which is unusual for this time of year. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on anything? Heard any whispers or seen any indicators that might suggest something is brewing, even if it's just a rumor mill going wild? Trying to gauge if it's just general industry anxiety or if there's something specific happening within PACCAR that I'm missing. Appreciate any insights, even if it's just shared gut feelings.

Interesting to hear about the scaled-back projects. My team hasn't experienced anything similar yet, but there's definitely a general feeling of caution around here too. People are being a bit more reserved with spending and resource allocation, which is definitely a shift from the usual. It's hard to tell if it's just seasonal planning or something more, but your observation about a 'wait and see' attitude seems to be widespread.
