I hear you. I'm on the Foundry side and have noticed a similar slowdown. Less internal tooling being built, more focus on revenue-generating projects, and a general sense of anxiety. It could just be the market adjusting, but the 'sudden time off' thing is a red flag. Start polishing your resume just in case, and maybe reach out to your network. Better to be prepared.
Honestly, this happens every few quarters. Palantir is notoriously cyclical. They overhire, then trim the fat. Then overhire again when they land a big contract. I wouldn't panic yet. Look at the big picture - are they still landing deals? Are the fundamentals solid? If so, it's probably just normal operating procedure. Maybe use this as an excuse to take *your* time off!
