Is anyone else getting the 'you're still needed, but maybe not *here*' vibe?

Been at PLTR for a few years now, and things have definitely shifted. It's not a direct layoff announcement or anything, but there's this undercurrent. Managers are all talking about 'strategic realignment' and 'resource optimization'. My team's project scope has been shrinking, and folks are being subtly encouraged to explore 'adjacent opportunities' within the company. It feels like a slow squeeze rather than a sudden cut. Anyone else experiencing this sort of nebulous restructuring? It's making it hard to plan, and frankly, a bit unsettling. Feels like they're making room without making waves, if that makes sense. Trying to stay optimistic but also realistic about what might be coming down the pipe.

Yeah, that's a familiar feeling. I've been seeing a lot of reshuffling too, especially on the product side. Projects get deprioritized or folded into other groups with little explanation, and then suddenly your role feels a bit... ambiguous. It's unsettling when the company's direction feels less like a clear path forward and more like a series of pivots. Makes you wonder about long-term stability, even if there aren't official cuts. Keep an eye on those internal job boards, I guess.

The 'strategic realignment' buzzwords are deafening, aren't they? I've noticed a similar trend where teams are being asked to do more with less, or the goals are shifting so rapidly that it's hard to keep up. It feels like management is trying to trim fat, but in a way that creates a lot of uncertainty for the people actually doing the work. The lack of transparency about what's driving these changes is the most frustrating part. Hoping things become clearer soon.
