Palantir stock vesting cliffs making me paranoid

Anyone else stressing about their stock vesting cliffs with all this layoff talk? I'm coming up on my two-year cliff soon, and honestly, I'm terrified of getting canned right before. It feels like they're dangling that carrot and could snatch it away at any moment. I'm a SWE on the Gotham team, been here almost two years. The work is interesting, but this constant anxiety is killing me. I've been grinding, putting in the hours, trying to make myself indispensable, but it doesn't seem to matter. Anyone else in a similar boat? Any tips on how to mentally deal with this?

I hear you. The vesting cliff anxiety is real, especially with the market the way it is. Honestly, companies time layoffs around these things. Start documenting everything you've contributed, quantify your impact, and have it ready. Update your resume and quietly start networking. Better to be prepared than blindsided. Even if nothing happens, you'll feel more in control. Good luck!

Two years on Gotham? You're probably fine. Palantir rarely axes people *right* before a cliff, it's bad press. More likely they'd let you go a month or two after, if at all. Focus on doing good work and try to ignore the noise. If you're really that worried, quietly see what other opportunities are out there, but don't jump ship based on paranoia alone. The devil you know...
