Honestly, 2 weeks per year sounds about right for the industry and tenure. But factor in things like unused vacation payout, potential bonus pro-ration (unlikely but worth asking about), and continued health insurance (COBRA). Don't forget to negotiate! Sometimes they have a little wiggle room, especially if they need you to sign a non-disparagement agreement. Check your offer letter and any stock agreements closely!
Take everything you read online with a HUGE grain of salt. Seriously. People love to complain. My buddy got laid off from a different tech company last year after 3 years and got closer to 3 weeks per year plus outplacement services. Palantir generally treats people okay, so I'd expect something reasonable, but don't bank on it being amazing. Start polishing your resume and networking *now*, regardless. Best defense is a good offense.
