Anyone else at Parker feeling the slowdown?

Hey everyone, longtime lurker here. Been with Parker for a few years now in the industrial division. Lately, it feels like the vibe has shifted. Projects seem to be getting put on the back burner, and there's a lot more talk about 'resource optimization' and 'belt-tightening' in internal communications. My team hasn't seen any official word, but the general atmosphere is definitely more cautious than it was even six months ago. I've been seeing some posts about other industrial companies making cuts, and it's hard not to wonder if we're heading in that direction too. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any whispers or observations from other departments or divisions? Trying to get a read on the situation without causing undue panic. Just curious what others are seeing on the ground.

I've noticed a similar shift, though perhaps a bit less pronounced in my area. There's definitely a heightened awareness of efficiency and a closer look at expenditures across the board. It's probably a prudent move given the current economic climate. Hopefully, it's a temporary phase and things pick back up soon.
