Parker Hannifin - Anyone else feeling the budget crunch?

Just wanted to see if I'm alone here. Feels like budgets are getting squeezed everywhere lately. Less travel, fewer new hires (as some have mentioned), and a general 'belt-tightening' attitude from management. My team's projects are getting pushed back, and there's a lot more scrutiny on every dollar spent. Wondering if this is a sign of bigger things to come or just the usual economic cycle playing out. Curious to hear if others are seeing the same kind of financial pressures across different divisions or locations. Trying to get a pulse on the overall health of the company outside of the official comms.

Definitely feeling it too. We've had a hiring freeze in place for months now, and any non-essential spending is basically a non-starter. Project timelines are getting stretched, and it feels like we're constantly having to justify our needs. It's a bit stressful, not knowing what the next quarter will bring, but I'm hoping it's just a temporary phase. Trying to stay focused and deliver what we can with the resources we have.

Yeah, the budget squeeze is real over here as well. It's like every proposal has to go through three levels of approval now, and even then, it's a gamble. We're seeing a lot more emphasis on efficiency and finding ways to do more with less, which isn't always easy when you're already running lean. Hopefully, things will loosen up soon, but for now, it's about being as resourceful as possible.
