Hey folks, been with Parker for a few years now in the industrial segment. Lately, I've been hearing whispers about certain roles that were supposed to be open staying that way for weeks, even months. My manager alluded to some 'strategic hiring adjustments' but was pretty vague. It's not just my team either, I've chatted with people in other departments, and they're seeing the same thing. Open positions suddenly going dark, requisitions getting pulled. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Anyone else in a similar boat or hearing anything concrete about hiring pauses across the company?

Yeah, I've seen something similar in my division. It feels like a general belt-tightening across the board, even for critical roles. The vagueness is the worst part – you can't help but speculate about layoffs or financial trouble when hiring just stops without clear communication. Hopefully, it's just a temporary pause and not a sign of deeper issues within the company. It's definitely creating a weird atmosphere, though.
