Parker Hannifin - Anyone else seeing quiet cuts or restructuring?

Hey all, been with Parker for a few years now and things have felt a bit...off lately. Management is being super cagey about "organizational adjustments" and there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring for some roles while others seem to be disappearing. Not seeing any official layoff announcements, but the vibe in a few departments is definitely tense. People are looking over their shoulders. Anyone else in Industrials or other divisions experiencing something similar? Is this a widespread thing or just my specific site/division? Curious to hear if others are seeing similar under-the-radar stuff happening. Trying to get a sense of the bigger picture here.

Yeah, I've definitely picked up on that too. It's not just about hiring freezes; some internal projects that were previously a priority have just evaporated without much explanation. It creates a lot of uncertainty, and you can feel the shift in how decisions are being communicated, or rather, *not* communicated. Makes it hard to plan your own work when the landscape keeps changing underfoot.

Interesting you bring this up. Over in my division, we've seen a few key people leave for other opportunities, and surprisingly, their positions haven't been backfilled with the same urgency as before. It's more of a 'redistribute the workload' approach. While I appreciate the efficiency focus, it does make you wonder about the long-term strategy and whether certain areas are being de-emphasized.
