Parker Hannifin - Anyone else's performance review feel...off lately?

Another anonymous post here. Just had my annual review, and it felt unusually harsh compared to previous years. My manager kept bringing up "efficiency" and "productivity targets" in a way that felt less about development and more about justification. We haven't had any layoffs that I know of, but it feels like they're setting the stage for something. It's like they're documenting performance issues, which is making me nervous, especially with the general economic uncertainty out there. Did anyone else have a review that felt like a performance audit? Just trying to gauge if this is a personal thing or if there's a company-wide push to reassess headcount or performance standards. Definitely feeling a bit on edge about my role moving forward.

My experience has been similar. The focus on metrics feels amplified, and the feedback is less constructive and more like a checklist. It's creating a lot of anxiety among the team. We're all trying to hit these targets, but the goalposts seem to be moving, and it's hard to keep up without clear guidance. I'm also concerned about what this increased scrutiny might mean for job security, especially with the current economic climate. Hopefully, it's just a departmental push for efficiency and not a sign of larger issues.
