Hey everyone, Been hearing some whispers lately, and wanted to see if anyone else is picking up on this. It's been quiet on the hiring front at PH for a while now, at least in my division. A lot of roles seem to be 'under review' or have disappeared altogether. Just wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if it's specific to certain areas. Are you guys seeing fewer new roles posted? Are internal transfers becoming harder? Curious to hear what the vibe is across different departments. Trying to gauge if this is just a seasonal lull or if it's something more significant. Any insights from the hiring managers or recruiters out there would be super helpful too. I've noticed a similar trend here. My department's been on a hiring pause for what feels like months, with most requisitions either stalled or outright canceled. It's definitely impacting project timelines and putting extra strain on the existing team. Was hoping for some new blood to help alleviate the workload, but it seems unlikely in the near future. Wondering if it's a cost-saving measure or something else entirely.

Yeah, it's pretty widespread across several engineering groups I've talked to. Open positions are few and far between, and the ones that are posted seem to be for critical roles only. Internal mobility has also slowed to a crawl. It's a bit disheartening, honestly, especially when you see the workload continuing to grow. Hoping things pick up soon, but not holding my breath.
