Anyone else feeling the vibe shift at Paycom?

Been here a while and things feel...different lately. Used to be a ton of energy, everyone pushing hard, lots of new projects kicking off. Now, it feels a bit more subdued, and honestly, a little uncertain. Heard some whispers about hiring freezes in certain departments, but nothing concrete. Meetings seem to be getting cut, or less people are being invited. The usual all-hands feel a bit more rehearsed than genuine. Is it just me, or is anyone else picking up on this? Maybe it's just the usual end-of-year slowdown or something, but the chatter among colleagues is definitely picking up. Just trying to gauge if the feeling is widespread or if I'm overthinking it. Curious to hear if others are seeing similar things or if things are still chugging along as normal for them. What's the general mood in your teams?

I've noticed it too. There's definitely a change in the air. The buzz feels quieter, and there's a bit of that 'what's next?' energy. Saw a few projects slow down, and some roles that were always open seem to be on hold. Hopefully, it's just a temporary phase and things pick back up soon. The company culture has always been a big draw, so seeing that shift is a little concerning.

Totally get what you're saying. It's like the 'go-go-go' mentality has hit a pause button. I've also heard similar things about hiring and department focus. Meetings do feel different, less dynamic than they used to be. It's easy to overthink these things, but when multiple people are feeling it, it suggests there's something to it. Let's hope for some clarity soon.
