Q3/Q4 expectations at Paycom... any word?

Starting to think about Q4 and next year at Paycom. We've always been pretty aggressive with hiring and expansion, but with the economic climate being what it is, I'm wondering if leadership is signaling a change. Heard some whispers about projects being pushed back or shelved, which is normally not the Paycom way. Is anyone in the know about potential budget adjustments or hiring slowdowns for the rest of the year? Just trying to get a pulse on the company's direction and manage expectations. Not trying to spread FUD, just gather info.

I've heard similar rumblings. It feels like a shift from the usual 'full steam ahead' mentality. The economic uncertainty is definitely a factor, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are some strategic pauses or reallocations of resources. It's smart to be proactive about managing expectations, especially on the hiring front. Let's hope for clear communication from leadership soon.

Interesting question. While I haven't heard anything concrete about budget adjustments or hiring freezes, the whispers about project delays are concerning. Paycom has always prided itself on its growth trajectory, so any deviation from that would be noteworthy. It's possible leadership is just being prudent and assessing the best path forward given the current market conditions, rather than signaling a major slowdown.
