I've been with Paylocity for a few years now, and while there's always market fluctuation, I haven't personally seen any significant signs of trouble or heard concrete rumors about layoffs. Hiring has definitely slowed in some departments, which isn't entirely surprising given the broader economic climate. Expenses are always monitored, but that's standard practice. Meetings feel business as usual, focused on our product roadmap and client success.
As a recent interviewee, I can't speak to internal company dynamics, but the process felt competitive and professional. There were multiple rounds, and the recruiters were communicative. I didn't get a sense of a hiring freeze, though perhaps roles are being more carefully considered. The focus seemed to be on finding the right fit rather than just filling seats quickly. My overall impression was positive.
