I've noticed the same undercurrent of 'keeping options open' lately. It’s more than just the usual holiday season quiet. Seeing a few more connections on LinkedIn updating their profiles or posting about professional development, which can sometimes be a subtle signal. I haven't actively started applying, but I've definitely been reviewing my own skills and considering what areas might be most valuable in the current market. It's smart to stay aware and ready, regardless of how solid things seem right now. Better to be proactively prepared than reactively scrambling.
Honestly, I haven't picked up on anything specific regarding Paylocity itself, but the market in general feels a bit uncertain. My focus has been on upskilling and ensuring my resume accurately reflects my current experience and accomplishments. Whether it's Paylocity or another company, staying competitive is key. I've also been having more informal chats with colleagues in other departments and industries, just to get a pulse on what's happening outside our immediate bubble. It’s good to have a broad perspective.
