Paylocity - Concerns about team morale and retention?

Lately, I've noticed a dip in team morale and conversations around people looking for other opportunities seem to be increasing. It's subtle, but the vibe has definitely changed. People are working hard, but there's a undercurrent of 'is this sustainable?' or 'what's next?'. We haven't had any official news about layoffs or significant changes, but the combination of increased workload (as mentioned in another thread) and people quietly polishing their resumes makes me wonder if leadership is aware or if something is brewing. I'm genuinely concerned about the direction things are heading and how it might impact our ability to deliver quality work and retain talent. Has anyone else picked up on this, or am I just overthinking it? Any insights from managers or those closer to higher-ups would be appreciated, even if it's just observations.

I've been feeling it too. It's like the excitement has worn off, and people are starting to question if this is still the right place for them long-term. The workload is definitely a factor, and when you combine that with a sense of uncertainty about the future, it's understandable why people might start looking elsewhere. Hopefully, management addresses these concerns soon.

It’s definitely a tricky situation. When people start talking about other jobs, even quietly, it's a sign that something needs attention. The increased demands without clear communication about the 'why' or 'what's next' can really wear people down. I'm curious to see if there's a plan in place to address the morale issue or if it's just going to be business as usual.
