Paylocity - Feeling the pressure, any internal shifts happening?

Hey everyone, been at Paylocity for a couple of years now in engineering. Lately, the workload feels like it's significantly ramping up, way beyond what I'd consider normal seasonal busy. Projects are getting piled on, deadlines seem more aggressive, and there's a general sense of urgency that wasn't there before. I'm trying to figure out if this is just a company-wide push or if others are seeing signs of internal restructuring or perhaps preparation for something bigger. Haven't heard any official rumblings about layoffs, but this increased pressure has me a bit on edge. Anyone else in a similar boat? Are there specific teams feeling this more than others? Wondering if it's just my perception or if there's a tangible shift happening behind the scenes. Curious to hear from others, especially in different departments.

I've been hearing similar sentiments from folks in other departments. It does feel like there's a significant push happening across the board. Deadlines are definitely tighter, and the pace has picked up considerably. It's hard to say definitively if it's restructuring or just a strategic acceleration of product development. The increased urgency is palpable, though, and I'm curious to see how it plays out in the long run for us and the company.

That increased workload pressure is definitely real. We've seen a lot more strategic initiatives being rolled out, and it seems like everyone's being asked to do more with less, or at least, do more faster. It could be preparing for a big product launch or a shift in market focus. It's creating a lot of stress, but also a sense of momentum. I hope there's some clarity coming soon about the 'why' behind it all.
