Well, it's official. Another layoff notification landed today for our Israel colleagues. Seeing the CTech report really confirmed the rumors that had been circulating. It's a really unfortunate situation, and frankly, it feels like a pattern now. Hard to reconcile this with the company's supposed long-term vision. I'm not directly affected this time, but it's incredibly disheartening to witness this happening repeatedly to talented people. Makes you question the stability and direction of the company, especially for specific regions. Just wanted to share my perspective and see if others in the Israel office feel the same way. Is anyone able to share any insights into the reasons behind these localized cuts?

This is incredibly disappointing to hear. PayPal has always presented itself as a stable and forward-thinking company, but these repeated layoffs, especially in key tech hubs like Israel, certainly cast a shadow over that image. It's tough to see talented individuals impacted so frequently. I hope the company can offer robust support to those affected and provide clearer communication about its strategic direction to alleviate employee concerns.

It’s a worrying trend when layoffs seem to become a recurring event. While I understand businesses face challenges, the impact on employee morale and trust must be significant. It’s hard to build long-term commitment when the ground beneath your feet feels so unstable.
