Severance Package Details - What to Expect?

Just trying to prepare myself mentally and financially... What kind of severance package has PayPal typically offered in past layoffs? I know it probably varies based on role and tenure, but any general ballpark figures would be helpful. Also, does anyone know how they handle unused vacation time? Do they pay it out? I've got a decent amount saved up and really hoping I don't lose it. Been updating my resume and LinkedIn just in case, but this whole situation is stressful.

Heard it's generally been pretty decent, especially compared to some other tech companies. A few months' salary plus benefits continuation for a while seems common, but yeah, it definitely depends on your level and how long you've been there. Unused vacation *should* be paid out, it's the law in some states, but double check your employee handbook to be sure. Good luck with the job hunt, hope you land something even better!

Start preparing for the worst-case scenario now – cut expenses, look into unemployment benefits, and be aggressive with your job search. As for vacation time, I'd take screenshots of your balance *now* in case there are any 'discrepancies' later. Cover your bases.
