I hear you loud and clear. That's exactly how it feels at Pentair lately. They throw around buzzwords like 'streamlining' and 'process optimization,' but we all know it’s just a nice way of saying we’re expected to double our output for the same pay. It’s draining. Every week, another role goes vacant and the workload just migrates to our desks without a word of support or acknowledgment. The morale here is at an all-time low, and frankly, I don't see how this is sustainable long-term. Something has to give before everyone just walks out.
Hang in there. I’ve been through these cycles at Pentair before, and it honestly feels like standard operating procedure whenever they want to inflate the quarterly numbers for shareholders. They rely on us being 'team players' to keep the lights on while they cut costs, banking on the fact that we're too responsible to let things fail. Please make sure you are drawing hard boundaries, though. They will take as much as you give, but they won't remember your sacrifice when it’s time for the next round of performance reviews. Protect your peace.
