Pentair - Any whispers about headcount reductions?

Hey everyone, been with Pentair for a few years now and things have felt… uncertain lately. No official announcements or anything concrete, but the general atmosphere feels a bit tense. Been seeing a lot more 'efficiency' talk in meetings and some projects seem to be slowing down or getting re-evaluated. It's probably nothing, but the layoff rumors on other company forums have me a bit antsy. Anyone else in Pentair picking up on anything similar? Is it just my department, or is there a broader slowdown happening that I'm not privy to? Curious to hear what others are seeing, especially in different divisions or locations. Trying to gauge the general sentiment and if I should start updating the resume just in case. Appreciate any insights.

I've been hearing similar things across a couple of departments. It's not just your imagination. The 'optimization' language has definitely ramped up, and it feels like a precursor to something. Not trying to spread panic, but it's wise to be aware of the shifting winds. Keep your resume updated, just in case. Better safe than sorry, right?

Haven't experienced anything drastically different in my team, but then again, we're in a fairly stable division. However, I have noticed some of the usual chatter about 'streamlining' processes more than usual. It could just be standard business cycle stuff, but the timing with other companies making cuts does make you wonder. Hope it's nothing serious for you all.
