Lately, I've been feeling a weird tension around the office. It's not one specific thing, but more of a general unease. People seem more quiet, less chatty at lunch, and there's a lot of hushed conversations. I've also noticed a few people who used to be really engaged seem a bit checked out. Is anyone else picking up on this vibe? Maybe it's just the usual end-of-year push, but it feels a little different this time. It's hard to pinpoint, but it feels like people are bracing for something. Just wanted to see if I'm overthinking it or if others feel the same.

I've noticed it too. It's like the air is a bit heavy, and those quick chats by the coffee machine have become shorter or non-existent. I'm trying not to let it get to me, but it's hard to ignore when the general atmosphere shifts. Hoping it's just a temporary dip and things pick up soon.

Yeah, I get what you mean. It’s not a dramatic change, but there’s a subtle difference in energy. People seem more focused on their own tasks, and the usual office banter feels muted.
