Pentair - Morale taking a hit?

Been at Pentair for a few years now, and lately, the vibe feels...off. Lots of talk about 'streamlining' and 'optimizing processes' from leadership, but it's starting to feel like code for something bigger. Anyone else picking up on this? My team's workload has been increasing, but there's this underlying tension, like people are holding their breath. No official word, obviously, but the chatter in the breakroom and on Teams is getting louder. Heard some rumblings about specific departments being 'evaluated' more closely than others. Just trying to gauge if it's just my department or a wider trend. Anyone with insights, especially from different divisions, would be appreciated. Trying to prepare myself, I guess.

I've noticed a similar shift. The 'efficiency drives' definitely seem to be impacting daily operations more than just making things smoother. There's a definite sense of uncertainty creeping in, and it's hard not to feel it when your plate keeps getting fuller and the underlying messaging is so vague. Hoping for some clarity soon, but I share your concern about what 'optimization' might really mean for us long-term.

Yeah, the 'streamlining' buzzwords are flying thick and fast these days. It's created a weird atmosphere where people are either quietly looking for other options or just trying to stay under the radar. It's a shame because there are a lot of good people here who are dedicated to the work. Let's hope management addresses the underlying anxieties before it leads to a significant exodus.
