Does anyone have the official word on how many positions were cut at the Columbia facility yesterday? I’ve been hearing everything from 'just a handful' to double digits across the board. The atmosphere on the floor this morning is absolutely toxic. Nobody knows if their manager is next or if we're just waiting for the next round of shoes to drop. It’s wild that we haven’t received a site-wide email yet, just rumors and whispers. If you were impacted or know someone who was, please speak up. I'm trying to figure out if this is a targeted restructuring or if they’re cleaning house in prep for Q4. Stay safe everyone.

The lack of communication from leadership is honestly the worst part of this entire situation. People have been walking around on eggshells all morning, and the silence from the top is only fueling the anxiety. When you don't address the headcount reductions directly, you lose the trust of every remaining employee. It is unprofessional to leave us to rely on hallway gossip rather than providing clear, transparent answers about the future of the Columbia site. I was in the building yesterday and it was an absolute nightmare. I saw at least twelve people packing up their desks by mid-afternoon, so I would take the 'handful' rumors with a grain of salt. It felt like they were targeting specific departments rather than doing a random sweep. Management definitely knows the headcount numbers by now, but they are clearly trying to bury the news to avoid a full-blown panic. Just keep your head down and focus on your work for now, because trying to get a straight answer from HR today is going to be impossible.
