Seeing a lot of noise online, especially from that Hacker News article a few days ago about "hundreds" in HQ roles. It's getting people talking internally, but nobody seems to have anything solid beyond that. Has anyone actually heard from their manager or HR about specific teams or departments being impacted in the Beverages division? Trying to separate rumor from reality here. My team hasn't said a word, but the general anxiety is definitely palpable. Is this just general market jitters, or is there something specific brewing at PepsiCo Beverages that isn't public yet? Curious if anyone has gotten any direct communication or has seen any internal memos hinting at what's coming. Would appreciate any actual intel, not just rehashing the same articles.

I've been hearing similar whispers, and that Hacker News piece definitely stirred the pot. My department hasn't received any official communication either, which frankly makes things more unsettling than if they'd just told us something. No concrete info from my end either, and yes, the online chatter is hard to ignore. It feels like a classic case of the rumor mill working overtime.
