Seriously? Layoff speculation is always around during these cycles. Honestly, finance is usually pretty safe. Maybe take a step back and consider if you are overreacting a little. They expect more from everyone, it's just business. Instead of ranting on here, perhaps look at ways to streamline your processes and demonstrate your value.
