Anyone else feeling the pressure at PFG lately?

Is it just our DC, or is corporate tightening the screws everywhere? The atmosphere has been incredibly tense for the last few weeks. We’re hearing a lot of 'restructuring' talk in the regional meetings, but management won't give a straight answer when asked about job security. My manager keeps dodging questions about Q4 budget cuts, and suddenly there’s a hiring freeze on non-essential roles. I’ve been here long enough to know the signs, but it feels different this time—more like they’re preparing to trim the fat before the end of the fiscal year. Has anyone heard anything concrete from their VPs or HR about potential layoffs? I’m trying to figure out if I should start polishing the resume now or if I’m just being paranoid because of the industry-wide slowdown. It feels like we're constantly being told to 'do more with less' and the burnout is real. If anyone has intel on what’s happening in corporate or other regions, please share. Not trying to spread rumors, just trying to stay ahead of the curve.

I’m at one of the midwestern DCs and it’s the exact same vibe here. The restructuring talk is definitely not just local. We’ve seen management hover around the floor constantly, and the silence regarding Q4 is deafening. People are starting to polish their resumes because the uncertainty is killing morale. It feels like they’re waiting for the quarter to end before they drop the hammer on us. Honestly, start looking around now while you still have the leverage.

You aren’t imagining things, the pressure is definitely coming from the top down. Corporate is obsessing over metrics that were never prioritized before, and the sudden hiring freeze is a massive red flag. I’ve survived previous rounds of 'optimizations,' but the secrecy this time is unsettling. They’re squeezing every drop of productivity out of us while providing zero transparency on what’s actually happening behind closed doors. Trust your gut—if it feels like they’re preparing for something big, they usually are.
