Been at P66 for a few years now, and usually, things feel pretty stable. Lately, though, I've been hearing more and more chatter about a potential hiring freeze. Not just for new grads, but for experienced roles too. Some of my colleagues have mentioned their teams have been told not to post new positions, and even some planned contractor roles are being put on hold. It's making me a little nervous about future opportunities and even job security. I haven't seen anything official from HR or leadership, which is typical, but the internal talk is getting louder. Wondering if this is just standard end-of-year budget talk or something more significant. Has anyone else heard this, or experienced it directly on their teams? Trying to gauge if this is a widespread thing or isolated to certain pockets of the company. Any insights would be appreciated.

Yeah, I've picked up on some of that too. It's definitely a change from the usual pace, and the lack of official word makes it harder to know what to believe. Fingers crossed it's just a temporary slowdown and not a sign of bigger issues. Keeping an eye out for any official updates, but for now, just trying to stay focused on my current projects.

Interesting to hear others are feeling the same way. My team hasn't gotten any direct communication about a freeze, but there's definitely a sense of caution around new hires and even some project expansions that were previously on the books. Hopefully, it's just a strategic pause rather than anything more concerning for long-term stability.
