Phillips 66 - Is it just me or is the vibe off lately?

Hey everyone. Been with P66 for a few years now and lately, the atmosphere just feels... tense. It's probably just my imagination, but I've noticed a lot more hushed conversations in hallways and people being a bit more cagey about projects. Performance reviews felt a little more critical this year than usual, and there's been talk about 'streamlining operations' which always makes my ears perk up in a bad way. Is anyone else picking up on this? Or am I just overthinking things because of the general economic climate affecting the energy sector? Just trying to gauge if others are feeling this unease or if it's just me being paranoid. Curious to hear what others think, especially those in different departments. Anything concrete anyone's heard, even whispers?

I hear you on this. I've been here a while too, and it does feel like there's an undercurrent of something shifting. The 'streamlining' talk is definitely a buzzword that gets people looking over their shoulders. Hope it's nothing major, but it's hard not to notice the change in energy. Maybe it's just seasonal jitters or something industry-wide, but your feelings aren't isolated.

Interesting to hear you say that. I hadn't really picked up on anything specific, but now that you mention it, maybe there's a bit more caution in the air.
