I’ve noticed the same thing at the Knoxville office. The calendar lockouts are definitely creating a lot of unnecessary anxiety across the floor. Management keeps using these buzzwords about 'strategic alignment,' but it’s clear something major is brewing behind the scenes. It's frustrating when they treat us like we aren't capable of handling the truth about potential restructuring. The lack of transparency makes it impossible to focus on actual work when everyone is just waiting for the next round of bad news.
Honestly, the constant vague meetings are becoming exhausting. If they are planning a round of layoffs or budget cuts, just rip the bandage off instead of hiding behind blocked calendars and cryptic emails. The morale in the building has cratered over the last few months because we can tell the culture is shifting toward something much more corporate and closed-off. At this point, I’m just keeping my resume updated because it feels like the current leadership is prioritizing optics over the people who actually run the operations.
