Anyone else feeling uneasy? The air is THICK

I've been at Pinterest for almost 5 years now, on the Monetization team. Lately, the vibe has been totally off. Lots of closed-door meetings that I never saw before, hushed conversations, and a general sense of anxiety hanging around. My skip-level has been visibly stressed, and even our usually chill manager seems on edge. I know tech is volatile, but it's hitting different this time. Anyone else feeling like there's something big about to drop? Or am I just being paranoid?

Definitely not alone. I'm in Engineering and it's the same over here. The constant re-orgs and shifting priorities used to feel like standard tech growing pains, but this feels...heavier. I've started quietly updating my resume, just in case. It's always better to be prepared, even if it turns out to be nothing. Good luck to you, and keep your ear to the ground.

Honestly, it's probably just performance review season amplified by the general tech market uncertainty. Companies are tightening their belts everywhere. Try not to read too much into it. Focus on your work, deliver results, and document everything. That's the best you can do to protect yourself. But I get the feeling, it's hard to shake when it's there.
