Hey, I'm so sorry to hear about the uncertainty. While I haven't been through a layoff *at* Pinterest, I have been through a few rounds at other tech companies. Generally, you can expect 2 weeks of pay per year of service, but that's just a starting point. Negotiate! Also, COBRA for health insurance is usually offered, but it's expensive. See if they'll cover a few months of it. Good luck!
Honestly, don't get your hopes up too high. These tech companies are notorious for offering the bare minimum. I heard through the grapevine that the last round only gave folks a few weeks of pay *total*, regardless of how long they were there. They might throw in some outplacement services, but those are usually pretty generic and not super helpful. Start polishing your resume now, just in case. Better to be prepared.
